Adacta at the “HOW LOW WE CAN GO? Sustainable Insurance in an Uncertain World” conference

The Insurance Supervision Agency's role is not only to foster the continued economic security of the supervised entities and provide protection to current and future policyholders and insured persons, but to bring together industry experts to collaborate and discuss emerging issues.

This year’s edition will focus on how the insurers manage returns on high-risk investments and subsequently transfer investment risks to policyholders. The first part of the conference will focus largely on economic factors, primarily low interest rates and their impact on the sustainability of pension systems. The speakers will analyse proposed measures and talk about their response to the current situation. The second part of the conference is focused on natural disasters, including pandemics, and the opportunities and challenges for the insurance sector in a time of uncertainty.

Panel discussion: Trends and challenges

Boris Bajić, Chief Executive Officer of Adacta, will join Marko Jazbec, Chairman of the Management Board of SAVA RE, and Ante Žigman, President of the Board of Hanfa, to discuss uncertainty, upcoming industry trends, and challenges.
